About the Game

“We’ll find our way home, or perish in the attempt.”


The nations of humanity were swallowed by Tehom, the survivors completely lost contact with each other. You, a necromancer wake up deep in the maw. You will lead an expedition of the dead and the living in a desperate bid to return to their homeland, picking up allies along the way……clawing their way through the perilous depths Underneath Tehom.


Genre: Turn-Base Strategy Game

Content: 3 Main Levels, about 90 Mins gameplay.

Platform: PC

About: Starting from the University Capstone program, I led a talent team of 10, investing a year's effort to create Underneath Tehom. We worked with a detailed design document, working schedule, and highly cohesive and collaborative team spirit.

My position: Team leader. Full responsibility for game design and engineering. Participated in the design processes for UI/UX, animation, and narrative.

Collapsing of Tehom

Our stories take place in the Stomach of the God. During the game, the world will slowly be devoured by Tehom……Players must make smart tactical decisions to end the battle before everything collapses...or use the changes in terrain caused by the collapse to their advantage.

Flesh Summoning

The power of Tehom comes from the Flesh. The game loop I've designed revolves around collecting flesh drops and shaping these flesh into different puppets.

Boss Fight - Ithyllahoth

In Level 3, Players will stand on a crumbling platform, with their survival space continuously shrinking. The Boss of this level, the moth knight Ithyllahoth, is a design I'm particularly proud of.
